Red Dragon Restaurant in Minneapolis

I've had some of the absolute worst service going there late night on a weekend, I mean the worst. I live quite close so I decided to give the restaurant a try - it was pretty good. I got a dish, which was general tso's chicken. It didn't have thick hard batter, or any at that. & it wasn't fried. The meat was really good. Veggies were a bit big for my liking. & the portion was some-what small for $15+. Overall I'd give it a 5/5, as the person who took my order/gave me my order when I got there was quite friendly, and just about anything would be a step up- unless he also decided to steal $40 from me. Still won't ever return for late night drinks with all my room mates- even though the drinks are super good.

Be sure to go close to dinner time for the freshest food choices. Wonderful selection for a buffet style restaurant.

I will always love the red dragon. they've been around for a very long time. they have great service. The decor has a quaint and vintage look. Great food and the staff including the waitresses bartenders and Cooks are all amazing!! it's a very nice friendly environment!!

There was barely any chicken in my General Tso’s and it tasted not fully cooked

I Go Here and have drinks alot to be honest I have the wondrous Punch It's Big Glass And They Are Very Famous For It...FYI. It will Get you Bent so "I Say Drink Responsibly" This place is Fun as well they play up to date music you may need to request something on the jukebox bring $5 and you get 3 instant plays to Be Able To Dance! Come On Out And Have A good Time Btw Don't Forget your Mask "Wearing A Mask Saves Lives"

The bartender, Cliff, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He knew the food menu well and was quick with drinks despite the bar being full of patrons.

This is uptown’s hidden gem. Seriously best place to start a night out. This is the go to spot for drinks. Admittedly I have never gone here for the food. But I can say that the specialty cocktails are what you want when you go here. Order the wonderous punch and then see where the night takes ya!

First dollar at the Dragon was mine way back in 1977. The best in the Twin Cities! A must!!

We love this place. Don't know how a negative review got on here. Have frequented this place for 40 some years. Absolutely love it!!! Take friends from out of town also. Brought our kids growing up. Fresh & tasty all the time!!

So I'm trying to support my Minneapolis Institutions of hospitality but these nasty wontons are to much to get past. Freezer burn!

It's the Red Dragon, strong drinks and decent food. It's been a while since I've here. Nice to see the bathrooms cleaned up and renovated.

Great food beyond fried rice and appetizers. Many different Polynesian style cocktails to choose from. Best neighborhood bar on the weekends.

I'm super annoyed they held my credit card info for 2 months and THEN charged my card when I didn't have enough in there and got charged an overdraft fee.. I only gave them a one just so other people know to be careful when using your card. They will not charge you that night but months later... So stupid. Calling to get $30 owed to me from them screwing up.

Fair pricing, large portions, quick service. definitely a hole in the wall but worth the visit if you’re looking to try something new in the neighborhood.

Do not order from this place. They really cheat you on the quantity that they gave you. The sesame chicken I ordered is absolutely gross And unrecognizable Compared to Sesame chicken that I have had in the past. For what they charge for this is unacceptable.

Going into the restaurant it was a little disappointing. It has not been kept up. Much needed cleaning and bright lighting as well. Waitress was great!Love the drinks name... Purple Rain,and yes it was yummy. *Food is delicious!!!! Great portions. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Had an amazing Monday girls night with amazing service and amazing food!

First time visit and the last. The staff is very rude & unprofessional. They did not want to provide menus to a group of 5. The waitress only gave one menu & threw it on the table. A guy came from another room to inform us , that the waitress didn’t want to serve us. We didn’t know, what was going on, except the waitress had a bad attitude. Enter at your own risk.

They messed my order up twice. When I went there to pick up the re-done order, got the worst looks from the staff and felt very unwelcome. As I left I checked the bag and saw that they'd messed it up again, but I felt too uncomfortable to go back in.Three stars because the food (what i could eat that i wasn't allergic to) was still really good.

I went here with a friend recommending their food it's been around for I don't know how many years probably 40 years or better. It's one of the restaurants where you find and you wonder should I go eat there yes you should go eat there. Food is hot and ordered just the way you like it the place was Packed must be good food..... is really grapefruit go check it out for yourself

This place provided rude and unprofessional service. The manager was that addressed us was not the manger. The bus lady slapped a menu on the table which was rode. Enter at your own risk

Try the Tokyo tea. You might only need one and you'll feel like you're rolling high. Honestly I have never eaten here and I probably never will. I only came for the drinks with their great portions and notorious potency. The interior is more like an 80s version of a skanky Chinese massage parlor with very dim lighting. I honestly like the Chinese massage parlor vibe that it gives off but trust me, the drinks will get you in the mood.

Yes the signature drinks are expensive but seriously you only need one. Excellent fried rice as well

I'm pretty into trying the chicken fried rice in any Chinese restaurant that intrigues me, and I have to say, this is the best I've had. The egg rolls also came in first place. Absolutely fantastic food, and I eat at a lot of American-Chinese restaurants. I'm eager to go back and try more items on the menu! I really like the decor...reminds me of some small restaurant you might see in Big Trouble in Little China. 5 stars, and I haven't even tried the bar! I'm sold. :-)

We went for lunch severe tender was nice we sat at the bar I ordered shrimp fried rice there was a lot of shrimp there was so much I had to bring some home it was quite the one. I'm definitely going to go back five stars red dragon good job
